Please join Princeton alumnae to socialize and participate in PWN’s first social service program that will provide immediate impact to homeless women and children in Philadelphia. As part of a nationwide initiative in Fall 2017, Princeton alumnae are gathering in cities across the country to learn about and support local women and children in need.
During the evening, we will have an opportunity to discuss the issues of homelessness for women and children in Philadelphia with Victoria Bennett, long-time head of St Barnabas Mission, a homeless shelter for women and children in West Philadelphia. We also will work together to assemble baskets of personal hygiene items to be donated to the St Barnabas’ families.
Please register and bring with you at least three items from the following list to contribute to the baskets we will put together at the meeting.
Items requested (preferably fragrance and dye-free)
  • Body wash
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes (adult and child)
  • Lotion
  • Sanitary Napkins
  • Foot Powder
  • Combs (no rat tailed or metal tipped)
  • Brushes
  • Diapers (sizes 4, 5 and 6)
  • Baby wipes
Cost for the event is $25 for PCOP Members and $35 for nonmembers which includes dinner and refreshments.
